Timothy Luke Sandys, born 1969, Wandsworth, London. Childhood in Belfast and Lough Eske, Donegal. Mother an author and broadcaster. Father a photographer and graphic designer.

After completing a foundation course in art at Letterkenny College, County Donegal, moved to Surrey in 1989. Started a 16-year career in current and historic motor sports involving: development, preparation, construction, build, restoration and running of Sports and Formula One racing cars.

Timothy Sandys' works are created in very small numbers, with commissions upon request.
